Planetary’s work in Nova Scotia has been highlighted in a Science magazine feature.

The feature takes our Tufts Cove project as a case study while describing the broader state of Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement (OAE) research internationally, noting rising interest in the field, significant environmental and economic potential, and ongoing work being done to answer questions about OAE’s biological safety and measurability.

This piece was written by Warren Cornwall. As part of his research, Mr. Cornwall visited Planetary at our Nova Scotia project site in October and spoke with several of our collaborators, including independent research scientists at Dalhousie University.

The article was originally published online Thursday November 30th, 2023.

A version will also appear in the December 2023 edition of Science, Vol 382, Issue 6674, on pages 988-992.
