Project awarded funding by the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program (OAP) on behalf of the National Oceanographic Partnership Program (NOPP). 16 other projects dedicated to marine carbon dioxide removal were also funded.

Early-stage project development begins on site.

Initial small-scale dosing scheduled to begin. Additions will continue for approximately one week.
2025
Second-stage dosing scheduled to begin, with additions continuing for approximately four weeks.
